Pre-planning on the places to travel, booking hotels, travel tickets, transport details etc is one hell of a work that requires a lot of attention and is the one major part that counts. Since childhood, I had the enthusiasm to travel a lot and so did my dad. So, we got to travel a lot, though in India. All these times, as a kid I used to sit and watch my dad plan all these few months before the travel. More than the effort spent on pre-planning for these, the energy spent, the analysis was done on what to be taken for travel was a zillion times greater. Later when I grew up, I got to know how important deciding things to be packed and the way we carry them was. I can say, your travel experience depends on whatever you take with you- People, goods or health. Now, let me split up the whole travel into three and give down the best travel tips in all three categories.
(Excuse me. This is gonna be a bit longer than our usual posts. But I’m sure will help you out)
BEST TRAVEL TIPS: BEFORE TRAVEL
WEATHER REPORT CHECK
The first thing you should do when you plan for travel is to know the best time of travel for that place. This is to make sure that you will not be affected in any way while on your travel. A few places are recommended only during spring, some during the mid-year some available for entry only during certain months. In order to avoid upset, discomfort or any other thing always keep the mobile app for weather handy or check the internet.
REVIEWS BY TRAVELERS IS THE BEST GUIDE
In addition to your travel companies suggesting you, always go for the opinions of different people who have already traveled to that place. Because nothing teaches you better than experience.
GO LIGHT WEIGHTED ON YOUR BACK
Pack only what you need. See for the best possibilities to carry less luggage. You can carry two pairs of jeans and 5 tees for a 7-day tour. That is how you optimize. There are a few ideas on how you should pack.
· Do not stuff everything in one bag and make it heavy. Instead, make them two.
· Carry all your immediate requirement things like passport, ID Card, facewipes, etc in a small bag handy- a backpack, shoulder bag, waist bag or something.
· Always pack your bag in such a way that you can fill something else on your return if you shop.
KEEP YOURSELF FIT AND HEALTHY
When you are leaving for a place that is not yours, you should always be cautious. So, avoid eating unhealthy food so that you will not leave any possible chances to fall sick. Also, exercise to keep yourself fit throughout your travel. (You will do better than any friend when you go for a trek too )
BEST TRAVEL TIPS: WHILE TRAVELING
BE AWARE!
The first thing I would tell anyone out of place is to be aware of their presence. It’s a holiday! All of us enjoy with peers around and sometimes go unnoticed about minute things which may turn into dreadful ones. Be aware of the people around you, the place you chose to stay for the night, the evening you spend, or for any robbers. It’s just keeping an eye on everything while you have a good time.
KEEP HYDRATED
There are a few things you fall into unnoticed. Like love . Okay, so one such thing is getting dehydrated. This is the worst thing one can face because the consequences will be really bad. Since you will be in a stage where you will give less importance to your body, make it compulsory that you take water at frequent intervals. Make your belly a mini reservoir.
SHARE YOUR LOCATION TO A FRIEND HOME
Not being pessimistic, we should always be ready for the worst. So, get your friend who is home, informed about your plan so that he will be of help when anything unfavorable happens.
BEST TRAVEL TIPS: AFTER TRAVEL
Since you have made your body do something which is out of routine, it tends to get more tired, however freely you plan your tour. A change in place, routine, food, and most importantly weather will have an effect on your body.
· ALWAYS END YOUR TIP TWO DAYS BEFORE YOU GET INTO YOUR ROUTINE so that you have a total day to rest and replenish.
· Take a lot of fluids infrequent intervals.
· Give your body good sleep and complete rest for a day.
The day’s done. The trip is done. How did you enjoy it? By the way, it’s time for work. Go, Bye!
