Sitting on a shrivel wall and gazing at the moon

It is her routine,

Sitting on a shrivel wall and gazing at the moon,

The soothing cool air tousling her mane,

Making her an actor in a tragic play,

The beauty of the silver light is mesmerizing,

Not too harsh,

Nor too gentle,

Mocking the glow of the maiden,

Flash of him ruined her night,

Shoveling her from bed,

Her heavy lashes remind his bizarre smile,

But she held her heart up,

Sat poised as a queen coz he was her king,

Not with her but always in her.

A long distance relationship, is always a tough choice.

PS-This poem “Sitting on a shrivel wall and gazing at the moon” is dedicated to all those people who live far away from their loved ones in distance but remain closer to them at heart.
